2017 Summer Season

"Welcome to the 60s" as this big musical about big dreams bursts into town on June 24, 2017! Directed and choreographed by the team who brought Les Mis, The Full Monty, Cabaret, and Mamma Mia! to the Hurst Theatre!  The 2017 season will also feature Laura Eason's steamy and smart Sex with Strangers, directed by Christy Montour-Larson, and a brand new version of the musical about Charlie Brown's best friend, The World According to Snoopy, directed by Kaitlin Hopkins with choreography by Adam Cates.

A new musical featuring Charles Schulz's iconic “Peanuts” characters, under the guidance of that consummate showman Snoopy, as they sing and dance their way through witty philosophies about love and life as only The Peanuts gang can. 2017 Aspen Theatre Festival

September 11-16, 2017

GO MAD!
In collaboration with The Wheeler Opera House, Theatre Aspen brings to town a new improv musical mash up from the minds behind MAD Magazine and Second City, with THE MAD SHOW! Primetime Emmy nominee and Peabody winner Rich Talarico (Comedy Central’s Key & Peele) turns his creativity as a writer for MAD TV to the musical stage. A Second City company member, Rich has written for Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and more.
