The Full Monty

June 24 - August 9

A group of unemployed steelworkers in Buffalo, New York come together to raise money by taking off their clothes in a one-night performance, emulating the touring Chippendales-style companies that have bewitched the town's working women. Down on their luck and emasculated by the women in their lives, the men overcome body issues, sexist views, bigotry, and plain old fear to find strength and confidence in each other, ultimately taking it all off with pride.

There is great heart to THE FULL MONTY, and the themes expressed in the show, about taking charge of one's life and following one's dreams are great lessons for everyone. The pop/rock score featuring fantastic lyrics is funny and tuneful. Rated: Naughty! Adult themes and language, not recommended for children.

''The Full Monty'' is that rare aggressive crowd pleaser that you don't have to apologize for liking.” – Ben Brantley, New York Times

Little Women the Broadway Musical

July 1 - August 16

Based on Louisa May Alcott's own family experiences (and novel), this LITTLE WOMEN follows the adventures of Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy March as they grow up facing the absence of their father as he serves in the Civil War. Even thought the musical's score is contemporary, the beloved story of the March sisters is timeless and explores the ongoing issues the girls face, like young love, hope, ambition and longing.

Now, this wonderful narrative has been brought to life as an exhilarating new musical filled with glorious contemporary music, dancing and heart. This powerful score soars with the sounds of personal discovery, heartache and hope -- the sounds of a young America finding its voice. Rated: Nice! For all ages (recommended 8 years and older). The true meanings of fate, identity and marriage are called into question as a surprising, hilarious web of secrets unravels in this ridiculous—and potentially murderous—romantic comedy.
