HAPPY FEET

JANUARY 10 - FEBRUARY 28 | DANCE AND DRAMA GAMES

Everything is rainbows and cupcakes in our HAPPY FEET session, grabbing inspiration from the movie Trolls as students dance their way to boosted confidence and encouraged imagination! In this 8-week session, students will create Trolls masks and learn physical awareness and coordination, all led by our Education Associate Britney Kuehm.

Who: Open to all students in Kindergarten and 1st Grade. 

When: Wednesdays, January 10th to February 28th from 2:00p - 3:30p. 

Where: Aspen Elementary School

Tuition: Only $160  

 

PRIMARY STAGES
MARCH 7 - MAY 16

Join Education Associate Britney Kuehm in our PRIMARY STAGES session as students enact a short, scripted performance complete with simple props and costumes! Through this 8-week session, students will use their imagination to design and create props and costumes, enhance their confidence and work as an ensemble to put on an introductory performance for family and friends. Prerequisite: Students must have participated in another 8-week session prior to Primary Stages.

Who: Open to all students in Kindergarten and 1st Grade.

When: Wednesdays, March 7th to May 16th from 2:00p - 3:30p. 

Where: Aspen Elementary School

Tuition: Only $160  

 

Grades 2-4

FOOTLOOSE

JANUARY 10 - FEBRUARY 28 | BROADWAY DANCE, MODERN DANCE, AND DRAMA GAMES

Cut loose and kick off your Sunday shoes in our FOOTLOOSE session! For 8 weeks, students will learn the fundamentals of Broadway and Modern dance, gaining a sense of confidence in performing while focusing on physical control of their bodies. Students will also cooperate and work inclusively as a team within our drama games while learning basic theatre elements.

Who: Open to all students in 2nd through 4th Grade.

When: Wednesdays, January 10th to February 28th from 2:00p - 3:30p.

Where: Aspen Elementary School

Tuition: Only $160  

 

STAGE TWO
MARCH 7 - MAY 16

In our STAGE TWO session, students will learn the basic fundamentals of acting, costumes and props in preparation for a short, memorized performance at the end of their 8-week program! Prerequisite: Students must have participated in another 8-week session prior to Stage Two.

Who: Open to all students in 2nd through 4th Grade.

When: Wednesdays, March 7th to May 16th from 2:00p - 3:30p.

Where: Aspen Elementary School

Grades K-4

PRIMARY STAGES

JANUARY 25 - MARCH 15

Through this 8-week session, students will use their imagination to design and create props and costumes, enhance their confidence, understand control over their bodies through dance and work as an ensemble to put on an introductory performance for family and friends.

Who: Open to all students in Kindergarten through 4th Grade. 

When: Thursdays, January 25th to March 15th from 3:15p - 4:30p.

NEVERENDING STORIES

JANUARY 23 - MARCH 13 | CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT, DRAMA GAMES, AND PERFORMANCE SKILLS

Join NEVERENDING STORIES where students explore the basic elements of a story, character development, and performance skills with the help of a familiar children’s book. Through this 8-week session students will use their imagination to design and create props, enhance their confidence and work as an ensemble to put on an introductory performance based off a book for family and friends.

Who: Open to all students in Kindergarten through 4th Grade. 

When: Tuesdays, January 23rd to March 13th from 3:00p - 4:15p. 

Where: Aspen Community School

Tuition: Only $160

Grades 1-4

NEVERENDING STORIES

Through this 8-week session students will use their imagination to design and create props, enhance their confidence and work as an ensemble to put on an introductory performance based off a book for family and friends.

Who: Open to all students in 1st Grade through 4th Grade.

When: Wednesday, January 10th to February 28th from 1:55p - 3:10p. 

Where: Basalt Elementary School

Middle and High School Programs


INTRO TO ACTING | JANUARY 19 - MARCH 2

IMPROV GAMES, SHORT SCENES, UNFORGETTABLE AUDITION TECHNIQUES

Friday is fun-day in this 6-week course with Teaching Artist Amy Honey. Have a blast and build confidence while playing drama games, getting coaching and feedback on scripted scenes, and learning the fundamentals of acting. Also, learn how to give an unforgettable acting audition when trying out for your next play.

Who: Open to all students in any school in 5th Grade through 8th Grade.

When: Fridays, January 19th to March 2nd from 3:25-4:40p.

Where: Basalt Middle School

Scholarships and payment plans are available. Theatre Aspen School has never turned away a student due to financial need.
